Product Overview
TKMISTD-15-3000-PP is a temperature Brearley mineral insulated thermocouple. Metal sheathed cable with thermocouple conductor which is insulated from each other and the sheath by highly compacted magnesium oxide. Conductor is safe from Environmental contamination, ductile and highly responsive. The cable is water, oil and gas resistant, extremely robust and are eminently suitable for applications where high or low temperature, corrosion, vibration, pressure and other extreme conditions exist.
- Working range from 0 to 1200°C, 1.5mm probe diameter, 3000mm probe length
- Plain pot seal plus - 100mm PTFE flexible tails cold end termination, type K
- Due to small thermal capacity of conductor bead and high thermal conductivity of insulant
- Ductile - can be easily bent or formed, completely immune from thermal shock
- Small overall diameters, very high insulation resistance
- Unaffected by pressure - can be glanded through bulkheads or pressure vessel walls
- Extensive range of diameter, conductor and sheath combinations
- Can be used in standard units in place of insulated wire elements
- Operating temperature range from 0°C to +1100°C (continuous), -180°C to +1350°C (short term)
