Description
Satechi ST-E2230M Overview
Expand the storage of your compatible USB-C device with the Mini NVMe SSD Enclosure from Satechi. Built with an NVMe M.2 2230 SSD slot, it connects to your host Windows, Mac, iOS, iPadOS, Chrome, or Linux device using an integrated USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface, which is compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB4. However, even when connected to a 40 Gb/s USB-C port, it will operate at its native speed of 10 Gb/s, which is fast enough to capture ProRes video with Log color on iPhone 15/16 Pro. Also featured is a write protection switch to help prevent accidental data deletions, an active cooling fan with venting slots, and a magnetic tempered glass cover. For greater flexibility, a USB-C female to USB-C male cable is included.
Please note that NVME SSDs are sold separately, and compatibility is limited to drives with an M.2 2230 form factor. Additionally, drives must be formatted as exFAT or APFS for use iOS and iPadOS devices. Also bear in mind that hot swapping is not supported.
