Qualstar Q-Ser IBM LTO 7 SAS Tape Drive

With support for up to 1 million pass throughs, the Q-Ser IBM LTO 7 SAS Tape Drive from Qualstar this Ultrium media is both durable and reliable. This tape drive features a SAS 6 GB/s interface along with supporting a native transfer rate of up to 300 MB/s and a compressed transfer rate of up to 750 MB/s. Once installed, clients can take advantage of a native storage capacity of 6.0 TB and compressed storage capacity of 15.0 TB to store large amounts of data and other important files.

This tape drive features LTO-CD cartridge memory for fast access to files along with the ability to anticipate potential failures to help prevent possible data loss. Additionally, this LTO 7 tape drive is designed to work across a wide variety of vendors and generations of Ultrium products and has been established to work with HP OpenView OmniBack II, Computer Associates ARCserveIT, Legato, Veritas and many other backup software package.
