AD5542 is a single channel, 16-bit, serial input, voltage output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It operate from a single supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. The DAC output range extends from 0V to VREF. The device can be operated in bipolar mode, which generates a ±VREF output swing. The device also includes kelvin sense connections for the reference and analogue ground pins to reduce layout sensitivity. The device utilizes a versatile 3-wire interface that is compatible with SPI, QSPI�, MICROWIRE� and DSP interface standards. It is widely used in application such as digital gain and offset adjustment, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, industrial process control etc.
