Thermaltake CTE E550 TG Overview
Enjoy panoramic views typically reserved for open-frame chassis with the CTE E550 TG from Thermaltake, an E-ATX mid tower chassis that sports three 4mm tempered glass panels. With support for hidden-connector motherboards, three GPU mounting options, and optimized cable management, you can build the sleek computer of your dreams with plenty of room for expansion.
This case supports up to 420mm radiators on the bottom and motherboard side and 240mm radiators on the top, along with six 140 or 120mm fans on the bottom and motherboard side, with another two 120mm fans supported on the top. This ensures a wide range of configuration options for optimal cooling and aesthetics. The right-hand chamber provides optimized cable management including anchor points, hook-and-loop fasteners, and cable ties for keeping a neat and tidy look. The drive cage can support two 2.5 or 3.5" drives, while the driver plate can take two 2.5" SSDs or one 3.5" HDD. This chassis sports convenient I/O, including two USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-C 3.2 port, and an HD audio jack, while the rear PCIe slots are rotatable for flexible GPU mounting. Finally, the chassis sports three fine removable dust filters, ensuring you always have clear airflow.
- Floating GPU: with this method, you place the GPU in the middle of the chassis by using the enclosed floating GPU bracket and the 400mm-long PCIe 4.0 riser cable (riser cable sold separately)
- Up Right: with up right you can hang the GPU vertically
