Unleash the GODLIKE: X870E motherboard lineup

Prepare your next build for maximum gaming and content creation performance with the MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE AM5 E-ATX Motherboard. Supporting AMD 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors with the AM5 socket, this motherboard can be outfitted with overclocked components to handle demanding applications and AI-enhanced workloads.

Designed with EZ Link technology to streamline builds, you can install up two M.2 PCIe 5.0 and three PCIe 4.0 SSDs on the motherboard. Two more M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSDs may be added using the included M.2 XPANDER-Z Slider Gen 5 card. You can also install up to four SATA III drives to store your games library, applications, and important files. Four DDR5 DIMM slots are available for up to 256GB of memory, which may be overclocked for up to 9000 MT/s performance. With two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, you can add multiple graphics cards and other compatible expansions.

The rear panel features two USB4 ports that can transfer up to 40 Gb/s with compatible devices or connect a USB-C compatible 8K display. There are also five USB-C and eight USB-A ports that work with 10 Gb/s devices. An internal header allows you to use a 20 Gb/s USB-C port on the front panel. Built-in Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and both 5G and 10G compatible Ethernet ports provide you with high-speed connections to compatible network devices for smooth video streaming and low-latency online games. Windows 11 64-bit is required to take advantage of all the motherboard's features.

EZ PCIe Release

An easy-to-access physical button release mechanism helps to remove any PCIe card with a single tap, making it easier to upgrade to a new GPU or other compatible device.

EZ M.2 Clip II

MSI's EZ M.2 CLIP II makes SSD installation seamless. Insert the SSD into the M.2 slot and press it down to lock it in place with the clip. Flicking the clip outward lets you remove the SSD. Use the EZ M.2 Clip II remover tool to detach or reposition the clip on the motherboard.

Flash BIOS

Flash the BIOS with only a connected power supply and a flash drive. No CPU or memory required.

Clear CMOS

Restore the BIOS to its default settings with the push of a button.
