Works as advertised.
I bought this to allow me to connect my Acasis 10-in-1 hub to the Thunderbolt port on the back of My Mac Studio Max. This is providing me with 33% higher read and write speeds from the SN750 2 TB NVMe drive in the hub compared to using the USB-C connection on the Mac Studio Max. Using Thunderbolt and the Acasis hub I now gert 931 MB/s Read and 1005 MB/s Write testing with AmorphousDiskMark 4.0. I am satisfied with this performance given the inexpensive cost of the hub and the NVMe slot it provides. This cable came through and provides sufficient length to let me move my hub around on my workstation.
Great for connecting external SSDs
I use several external SSDs while editing video for broadcast. This helps me to work on programs at home or at the office. The Thunderbolt cable not only connects the SSDs to my desktop, it also connects my laptop to my desktop. The ability to transfer 30 GB files in less than a minute (machine to machine) is a great help.
This cable solves many problems
I am using several of these cables now and will get more because they are the first to reliably connect USB-C ports on my PC's with similar ports on external hard drives and card readers.
