ScreenPlay SP12 Overview
Encourage collaboration and improve user engagement with the ScreenPlay JTouch Series 12 55" UHD 4K Touchscreen Commercial Monitor. The SP5512 is a 450 nits bright display with up to 50 points of infrared touch that allows you to annotate over any source, perfect for classrooms, lecture halls, and more.
The SP5512 features NFC technology that allows teachers to personalize their content and settings, to be accessed only with the appropriate wireless keycard. A wide variety of source devices can be connected via HDMI, VGA, and USB-C inputs. An OPS slot is available to accept compatible Windows and Android upgrade modules. Multiple USB inputs are available for touch control, media playback, or for connecting peripheral devices like cameras and keyboards. Additionally, content can be accessed over the internet and local network. Network connectivity and control is available through gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and the SP5512 can be used as a Wi-Fi 5G hotspot, as well.
Annotation Over Any Source
Any file you have stored on your ScreenPlay JTouch 12 can be annotated over, even documents stored on an attached OPS when working in Android on the display. This feature is functional and handy when reviewing documents as a team or commenting on curriculum content in the classroom.
USB-C a Single Cable Solution
Easily connect USB-C devices through the USB-C port with up to 45-watt power delivery. USB-C supports video, audio, touch, data, and power output for charging devices quickly over a single cable.
NFC (Near Field Communication)
Private content is securely held on the device and can only be accessed with the appropriate keycard via NFC.
Octa-Core Processing
The ScreenPlay JTouch Series 12 CPU is a highly capable ARM Cortex Octa Core A55 1.4 Ghz unit that is paired with the ARM Mali Quad Core G52 600 MHz GPU.
Optional Windows 11 Pro & Google Android 13.8 EDLA Certified OPS
Three separately sold options are available to upgrade the display: Intel i5 and i7 processors with Windows 11 Pro operating system as well as a Google EDLA certified Android 13.8 module. Being Google certified means that the display offers seamless integration with the Google ecosystem, including Google Workspace (formerly G Suite for Education) and the entire Microsoft 365 suite. Teachers can easily access their Google accounts, files, and collaborative tools directly from any of the ScreenPlay JTouch 12 Displays when utilizing the optional module.

The SP5512 features 8GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of EMMC ROM as standard.
Optimized Temperature and Energy Control
The JTouch Series 12 Temperature Sensor can monitor the temperature of your workspace or classroom and trigger alerts when rooms need to be ventilated.
