The transparent polycarbonate case has IPX4-equivalent waterproofing and is compatible with THETA models Z1, X, and SC2. The TH-3 allows users to keep their camera's USB cable connected for charging or livestreaming when the camera is inside the case, and they can also operate the camera using the THETA smartphone app or the optional TR-1 remote control.

Although the case is waterproof, it may not be used as an underwater solution.
