Film Devices VI-145-K Overview
The 145mm Film Devices Vibration Isolator Kit is a vibration isolator system made to reduce camera vibration when shooting with cameras and gimbals in moving vehicles.
With cables and tie-down blocks that can be removed, the vibration isolator is adjustable to support load capacities up to 18 pounds, and it boasts a maximum magnetic holding force of 240 pounds. The kit includes one 145mm vibration isolator, four 88mm rubber-coated magnets, four 7" articulating arms, a 7/16" wrench, an industrial-grade hard case, and various nuts and washers. Use the VI-145-XARM bracing kit (available separately) to mount the isolator kit on vertical metal surfaces.
- 145mm vibration isolator contains 1/4" and 3/8" threaded and non-threaded holes
- Vibration isolator center hole is 10mm non-threaded on one side and 3/8" threaded on the other side
- 88mm rubber-coated magnets support up to 60 lb force per magnet, and each contains one 3/8"-16 thread and two 5mm threads
