Konus 8x42 KonusRex Binocular

Konus ' green 8x42 KonusRex Binocular features phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics that produce a versatile and capable optic with bright and clear high-contrast images with true color rendition across its field of view. Its 8x magnification brings subjects up-close without the noticeable hand-shake often associated with higher power optics. The combination of prisms, optical coatings, and an angle of view that approaches wide-angle, users can enjoy an immersive observational experience in most lighting conditions, and even in the most extreme weather. Whether you're hunting or birding, boating or watching your favorite team, this KonusRex is a nice companion.

Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binocular durable and comfortable to use. It has an open-bridge design which allows the hand to wrap completely around the optical tubes while reducing weight and bulk. A lightweight and durable aluminum alloy chassis further cuts weight, and is protected by green rubberized armor that is textured to give it a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binocular to be customized to most people's needs, and a tripod adapter mount on the front hinge allows it to be put on a stable support system for long observation sessions.
