The Airwave Ultra Vibration Isolator Arm for Camera Gimbals from Proaim is a suspension shock absorption system that provides unparalleled stability for shooting high-speed car chases. Capable of handling payloads between 11 and 44 lb, the Airwave lets you stabilize your footage so that shaky footage and blurred shots are a thing of the past. The very sturdy, high-grade CNC aluminum-constructed unit comes with a durable flight case for safe storage and transport.
Peak Absorption Shocker
A reliable peak dampening air pump shocker provides an all-encompassing stabilizing system. Expertly designed for bumpy rides, the shocker removes high- and low-frequency vibrations and semi-hard impact shocks during high-speed pursuits.
Locking Knob & Air Pressure Pump
The shocker features a fitted damping adjustment knob that allows you to fine-tune your setup for the best calibration, pace, and weight. A built-in blue locking knob limits the arm's vertical movement on the go without sacrificing stability. The provided air pump allows you to dial in the desired air pressure inside the shocker according to the weight of your camera in no time.
Hydraulic Dampeners
Two advanced hydraulic dampeners aid in reducing the jerks and vibrations brought on by rapid turns, abrupt acceleration, or deceleration.
Suspension Shock Absorption System
A new and improved suspension shock absorption system made of silicone rubber effectively isolates the vibration and suppresses the spin shake produced by the gimbal when on the run.
Dynamic Movement on Different Axes
Designed to meet the challenges of performing extensively on the three axes to widen the spectrum of dynamic movement and offer you the flexibility to work your way around diverse shooting demands. The isolator efficiently calibrates the vibrations on all these axes: vertical, tilt, and roll, aided by the installed dampening mechanism for each direction. In addition, the gimbal setup mount can be configured in low, underslung, and overslung modes to capture your shots from the desired angles.
Easy & Reliable Setup
Quickly mount the system onto a 1.6 to 1.9" scaffold pole/speed rail by the quick-lock Scaff mechanism that offers a stable and secure setup every time. The arm houses the compatibility to rig any industry-standard Mitchell-headed gear, and you can directly mount the DJI Ronin gimbal to the arm via the equipped Ronin quick release plate.
Durable Flight Case
The system comes securely packed in a hard-shell, wheeled flight case with custom foam inserts to ensure complete protection for safe transit and easy transportation to different production sets.
