Product Overview
REF5QR1680BG30W1TOBO1 is an auxiliary power supply reference design based on Infineon�s 5th generation quasi-resonant CoolSET� family (ICE5QR1680BG) configured in a flyback topology. The power supply supports an input range up to 264VAC with 15V/0.15A, 12V/2.2A and 5V/0.2A output. With an optional AC crossing detection circuitry couple to the secondary side for MCU processing, it allows the designer to control an AC motor with ease. Likewise, the MCU on the secondary side is able to turn OFF the LDO on the primary side to improve the performance of standby power. Typical applications include auxiliary power supply for AC-DC, home appliances, motor control and drives, telecom and server.
