TS3121ILT is a rail-to-rail, open-drain comparator with embedded fail-safe input/output. The device can operate with input/output pins biased while the supply pin is shut down to VCC = 0V for energy saving applications. A guaranteed start-up time ensures a stable output condition after activating the supply rail. It can be used in applications where space on the board is limited. It can thus reduce the overall cost of the PCB. Typical applications include industrial, power tools, overcurrent protection, controllers, sensors.
- High ESD tolerance: 4kV HBM
- Input/output pins withstand voltages higher than VCC
- Fail-safe architecture keeps output in high impedance when VCC=0 V
- Guaranteed start-up time allows sequential on/off cycles of VCC
- Supply voltage range from 1.7 to 5.5V
- Input offset voltage is 0.5mV typ at T=25°C, VCC=5V, Vicm=VCC/2
