Vicoustic PENRAY 02 Overview
Presented in 3 pieces each of four different shapes (12 pieces total), these biondi blue-colored fire-rated Vicoustic GEN_VMT PENRAY 02 Tiles are acoustic panels that can be combined for an interesting look whilst absorbing medium and high frequencies. Based upon geometric research in fields of pentagonal tiling, where each individual piece is in the shape of a pentagon, the tiles allow you to build your own patterns from simple to complex. In this exploratory work, Vicoustic was looking for a shape grammar that allows generating endless combinations of single or double main shapes.
