The Revo VRS-AVR Wired Remote Control for Sony Camcorders with A/V Remote Terminal allows you to control zoom, start/stop recording, take photos, and power on/off compatible Sony camcorders from up to 5' away. It connects via an A/V Remote connector and features an integrated clip for attaching to your tripod's pan handle for quick and convenient access while shooting. The VRS-AVR is compact, lightweight, and easily stores in your camera bag (sold separately).
- Four-Button Remote Control
- The wired remote lets you start and stop video, snap photos, zoom in and out, and turn your camcorder on and off.
- Two-Step Zoom
- When used with camcorders that support the function, the VRS-AVR can control zoom at two speeds. Press the zoom button halfway to zoom slowly, and press it down all the way for fast zooms.
- A/V Remote Connector
- The VRS-AVR offers compatibility with most Sony camcorders that have an A/V Remote terminal.
- Built-In Clip
- The built-in clip attaches the remote to you tripod's pan handle. The oversized design provides extra leverage when opening the clip, and interior nonslip rubber pads keeps the remote securely in place.
- Power and Recording Indicator LEDs
- Separate LEDS indicate when your camcorder is turned on and recording. The power LED glows green when your camcorder turns on, and the recording LED glows red when shooting video.
- No Batteries Required
- The VRS-AVR is powered by your camcorder, without the need for separate batteries.

I ordered this product for my sony HDR CX 130E handycam I wanted a remote to control zoom function and to click a photo or start video recording without touching the controls on camera to avoid image shake, as my handycam does not have multiple port but it supports remote operation via av terminal I was not able to find a decently priced remote any where but luckily one day I found this offer on tanotis and ordered it without wasting a second and product has delivered exactly what I wanted. I can zoom in and zoom out at two variable speeds I can click a photo start and stop recording without touching the controls on camera which results in a shake free image this remote can easily be clamped on the tripod pan handle so I can operate the tripods pan movement and camera controls with only one hand right from my tripod pan handle very easily and know I can use my second hand to stabilize the tripod. On the top of that this remote is way cheaper than the sony's original remote commander rm av2 or any other third party remote, built quality is just great does not feel cheap. Now to record my self I can adjust the cam without any hassle as the cables length is long enough to control camera from my seat only thing I need to adjust manually is the tripods positioning .
