The clip-on transmitter fits in the palm of your hand, features a built-in omnidirectional microphone, and sets up in seconds. The U6 system wirelessly transmits high-resolution 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio with true-diversity wireless stability to the camera-mounted receiver at a distance up to 90'. Built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 4 hours of operation and recharge in 2 hours via USB.
Clear Omnidirectional Voice Capture
- The compact clip-on transmitter can be directly mounted on your clothing, close to your mouth where it sounds best.
- The built-in microphone features an omnidirectional pickup pattern to ensure the sound of your voice remains clear and consistent, even when your head moves away from the mic.
- A furry windshield is included for recording outdoors.
- You can also hold the transmitter in your hand and use it as a handheld microphone.

Versatile Mounting Options for the Transmitter
- The transmitter can be worn discreetly in two different modes: Clip and hook-and-loop.
- The Clip holds the transmitter in position on top of your clothing or on the underside of your shirt for a very understated look.
- For a clean, on-camera look, the hook-and-loop method (with included hook-and-loop fastener adhesives) enables you to completely conceal the transmitter underneath your clothing. It can also be used to secure the transmitter on top of your shirt or jacket.
Mount the Receiver on Your Camera or Smartphone
- Connecting the receiver to a camera: slide the receiver clip into the camera shoe mount. Connect the receiver output to the camera audio-input jack using the supplied 3.5mm TRS cable.
- Connecting the receiver to a smartphone: with the included hook-and-loop fastener adhesives, attach the compact receiver to the back of your smartphone. Connect the receiver output to the smartphone headphone jack using the supplied 3.5mm TRS cable and 3.5mm TRRS adapter. If your smartphone doesn't have a headphone jack, use a Lightning or USB Type-C adapter (available separately).
Four-Channel Wireless Design
- The system's four-channel design allows you to use four U6 sets in one area.
- With one set only, having four frequencies to choose from ensures connection if there are competing wireless devices nearby.
True Diversity for Reliable 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless at up to 90'
- To avoid interference from TV and radio waves, the U6 digital system operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band�far away from television, radio, and UHF wireless microphone transmissions.
- True-diversity reception: the receiver is equipped with two internal antennas to ensure a solid wireless connection.
- The system automatically changes transmission frequency to mitigate noise and dropouts at a line-of-sight distance of up to 90'. For optimal performance, environments with limited Wi-Fi/2.4 GHz traffic and minimal physical obstructions are recommended.
