Vixen Optics 60DX Overview
Designed to connect a 60mm threaded focuser tube with Canon EOS DSLR cameras, Vixen Optics' 60DX Wide Photo Adapter improves the image quality of your wide-field astrophotographs by eliminating light loss through the use of blackening and light-shielding processes while reducing squaring errors. This adapter is made of two parts: the Prime Focus ring and the Mounting ring. The use of brass components increase the precision and durability of the adapter for years of service, and thicker components improve the overall strength of the adapter to handle heavier rigs. Two different sizes of lock screws are provided for optimal lock and smooth camera rotation mechanism, and in the case of set screws interfering with the camera body an additional set screw without head is supplied.
