Vazen 28mm T2.2 Anamorphic Overview
The 28mm T2.2 1.8x Anamorphic Lens from Vazen provides a 2.39:1 widescreen look with amber flares and oval bokeh for Micro Four Thirds sensor cameras with a Canon RF lens mount. This wide 28mm prime provides a 1.8x anamorphic squeeze and covers Micro Four Thirds cameras like the Panasonic GH5 and the Z CAM E2. It is also compatible with the RED KOMODO in 4:3 1.8x anamorphic mode with slight vignetting visible in 6K mode at T16.
This 28mm lens features 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, a 2.7' minimum focus distance, focus marks in feet, an 80mm front diameter, and a relatively compact form. This lens comes with front and rear caps and a hard case for transport and storage.

Lovely images
If you are on the fence about Vazen, do not hesitate to purchase. This lens delivers a gorgeous and wide anamorphic image. It isn�t too heavy and the cine gears are great. Works well with the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. I get excited every time I use this lens. Worth every penny.
All time favorite lens
This lens gives the image quality I�ve been looking for in a package that has never been so easy to work with. The gears and focus thread allow me to pull focus while on gimbal and use light weight 77mm filters and diopters! I use this lens wide open all the time and love it! Give it a try!
Nice but hope it can be better
Overall very nice optically and mechanically. The 28mm does not flare easily as other reviewers mentioned on Youtube. The mechanic is not bad but not as smooth as the Zeiss CP.3 lens. Still, one of the best anamorphic choices for GH5/6, but with reservation to recommend this for Komodo (or C70) due to the image circle to cause some noticeable vignette at the 6K anamorphic mode. However, it is still a unique lens to shoot if it can help with the income. Cheers.
Real Deal Anamorphic At An Incredible Price
I've already used this lens on three different projects and it is genuinely incredible how much character and filmic quality it adds to footage. I use this lens with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k and the combination of size and focal length make it an ideal No. 1 lens for narrative and music video work. I can fly it on the DJI RS2 easily. I also have the Vazen 40mm, which is another incredible lens, but in terms of ease of use, the 28mm tops it - thanks mostly to its reduced size and increased depth of field. It makes it much more ideal for fast moving shots where it's important to still keep most of the frame in focus. The flares on this lens are absolutely gorgeous as well. The only minor gripe is that the aperture ring does feel like it moves a bit too easily. I haven't had any problems with it slipping so far, but that's the only thing I've really noticed. Otherwise, WOW!
