It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.

Cyan is the opposite of red and can be used to reduce red tones or casts within a scene or print. This cyan CC05 is less dense than a CC10 filter, and requires a 0.3 stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting to precision metal rings.

Cyan color compensating filter for use when making color balance adjustments.

Cyan is the opposite of red and is added to reduce red tones or color casts within a scene or print.

This filter has a nominal peak density of 0.50, and a 1.2x filter factor, requiring a 0.3 stop compensation.

Plastic filter case for storage and transport.

In the Box

Tiffen 105mm Coarse Thread CC05C Cyan Filter

Plastic Case

10-Year Limited Warranty

Type

Cyan color compensation

Size

105 mm (coarse threads)

Density

0.50

Filter Factor

1.2 (0.3 stop)

Effect

Counters the effects of red light in a scene or print

Construction

ColorCore technology

Front Filter Thread Size

105 mm (coarse threads)

Front Lens Cap Size

105 mm

All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.
