Think Tank Photo Roller Derby Overview
The Airport Roller Derby Rolling Carry-On Camera Bag from Think Tank Photo features a customizable interior that can hold up to two DSLRs with lenses attached or one pro sized DSLR with a lens attached, as well as additional lenses, flashes, and accessories and depending on the configuration, the bag can hold up to a 400mm f/2.8 lens, unattached. The bag also has two dedicated padded pockets for a tablet and a 15" laptop.
The bag has four sets of dual inline-skate style wheels that rotate, allowing the bag to easily roll sideways through aisles or through people in crowds. It also includes a cable and a lock for locking the zipper and securing the bag to a post. A rain cover is included to protect your gear in inclement weather.

Camera Roller Case
After hearing only glowing reviews of Think Tank cases, i was in need of one when in NY when my 20 year old Tamarac rolling case finally gave out (the wheel broke). I went to hoping to find a Think Tank replacement. I was was planning to get the 2 wheeled carry-on version, but that model was backordered with no arrival date, so I got the Derby 4 wheel version. It rolls fine, but that's what I don't like about it. It rolls too easy. If you take your hand off of it, it rolls away. Really annoying when you're outside by the car on a slight slope. Two wheel versions stay put! Inside the camera case is fine, but I'd prefer it not be curved on the corners as its difficult the retrieve gear from those areas. Lastly I wish the top zipper flap has some straps to keep it from opening completely so it would stop at 90 degrees. These were all options on my Tamarac bag that made it such a terrific roller and last so many years. The Think Tank bag seems well made, so time will tell.
Great Bag
I saw this bag on KelbyOne and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. Excellent quality with tons of room. I not only use it when I fly, but it is now the primary bag for all my photo shoots. The only time I don't use it is when I need a backpack. It holds both of my cameras with zoom lenses attached, and plenty more room for the rest of my lenses and accessories. The wheels are super smooth. It takes no effort to move it. The adjustable length handle is great. Fully extended the bag follows you around like any other carry-on bag. Adjust it to the lower hight and the bag follows right next to you. I love this bag!
Greatest camera bag ever
This camera bag is an absolute work horse. I've used it for years, traveled many times with it, taken it on hundreds of shoots and nothing has ever broken or come undone, not even a zipper pull. I've pushed, pulled, sat on it, kicked it around, raised and lowered the handled thousands of times and it works as if it's brand new. The spinner wheels are incredibly smooth and make it a breeze to roll around and also takes the weight off of having to drag it which makes a huge difference. I wouldn't mind a wheel lock though for when riding the subway or at the top of an incline. That would be my one and only request. The locking cord is a genius feature as well and has really come in handy. This bag holds all of my camera gear, 2 bodies, 5-6 lenses, a water bottle, 16 laptop and tripod, plus extra essentials. It is hands down the best, most practical and sturdiest camera bag I've ever used.

RUGGED RUGGED RUGGED
I'm a professional photographer and work all over the Caribbean and the terrain is tough. Dirt roads and mountain travel is the norm and this bag can take it all. And it just glides effortlessly through airports. I bought my first of two of the these Feb. 2016, second in 2019 and they are still working perfect.
I love this case!
It took me a while to buy this as it's expensive. But I am happy to have it. It protects the gear really well and the rollers work well too.
Well made and wheels are great
Plenty of room for my Nikon z9 and five lens with a flash and extra stuff. The bag is a little heavy but that comes when something is well made from good material.
