The low output noise, very high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low dropout voltage of this regulator make this device as an ideal device for wide selection of battery operated handheld equipment. The TLV70228 has thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection and current limit for safety. It is stable with an effective output capacitance of only 0.1µF. This feature enables the use of cost effective capacitors that have higher bias voltages and temperature de-rating.
