The Silent Switcher®2 technology reduces the switching noise while the internal MOSFETs of the LTC7151S provide high efficiency over a wide input voltage range. No current sense resistor is required. The LTC7151S employs a controlled on-time, valley current mode architecture. This architecture allows for a short minimum on-time which is ideal for high stepdown ratios. In addition, the architecture provides a fast load step response by allowing the switch node pulses to compress after the load steps up.
