Sunwayfoto GH-04 Overview
The GH-04 Lightweight Gimbal Head from Sunwayfoto has a hollowed-out design and a weight of only 2.3 pounds for easy transport to remote locations. It has a robust 66-pound load capacity, making it suitable for use with large telephoto lenses and for tracking a subject in all directions effortlessly. It is ideal for shooting subjects in motion like sports, wildlife photography, and bird watching. It features a damping adjustment knob to offset the weight of the camera and lens plus indexed scales for easily positioning its center of balance. The rotation axis of the gimbal passes through the central axis of the lens, which makes photo composition more accurate when there is a need for photo stitching and reduces post-production workflow.
The camera platform has an adjustable range of 4.3" and has an integrated safety lock lever to immobilize the platform to avoid any impact to the camera or lens. It has an Arca-type quick release clamp with a classic locking knob and supports quick release plates with safety screws to prevent accidental plate release. A 4.7" long Arca-type quick release plate is included, ideal for use with long lenses.
