The DCM3 sports a durable metal grille along with a convenient internal pop filter, for eliminating pesky plosives, and an internal shockmount, for avoiding rumbling and handling sounds, allowing your microphone to remain flush without any external obstructions to your camera view.

The DMC3 is housed in a corrosion-free, dent-proof metal housing that will stand up to years of intense use, and it includes a versatile stand adapter with a wide swivel range, tested for use on nearly all types of mic booms and stands. With a custom-developed capsule and frequency response designed to deliver smooth, natural sound on any voice, the DynaCaster DCM3 will enhance the quality of your content and can also serve well as a home studio or live instrument microphone.

This microphone is part of the Virtual Mic Locker, an online tool to help our valued customers determine the sonic differences between popular microphones for podcasting and voice over work. Each microphone was recorded using a Grace Design M103 preamp into a Presonus Quantum 2626 interface.

The DynaCast DCM3 sports an efficient design that keeps the exterior as clean and obstruction-free as possible, while still providing plenty of studio essentials. Both the metal mesh grille and pop filter can be easily removed and cleaned as needed.

To ensure loss-free, reliable signaling, the DCM3 features gold-plated male XLR connectors. These connectors are corrosion-free, just like the durable metal housing, and possess superior thermal and electrical conductivity properties compared to other conductor materials.

This microphone includes a flexible stand adapter with a wide swivel range, making it easier to position the microphone for ideal sound and looks during a stream or content shoot. This adapter has been tested on numerous stands and booms, ensuring wide compatibility with mounting equipment.
