FS3000 high performance surface mount air velocity module measures direct air speeds up to 15meters/sec. FS3000 and FS1015 both share the same internal flow channel to produce the same output flow curve while the different mechanical housing design targets different mounting requirements. Conventional methods of monitoring critical component temperature are by arrays of temperature sensors or the internal temperature sensor in the MCU, GPU, MPU, etc. These methods are inaccurate and complex as each system board needs to be individually modelled. The FS3000 measures the direct local air which allows the system control to make adjustments quickly. By providing a closed loop control, systems can potentially reduce the energy cost of the system. Target applications includes air handling systems, HVAC, fan/blower control, filter clogging, analytic systems gas monitoring, data centres, servers, weather stations and air quality systems.
