The unit self calibrates to an assumed atmospheric level of CO2 (400ppm) on a 24 hour cycle to avoid the need for user recalibration, with a sample rate of every 30 seconds This is reported to a web service via a gateway unit (Farnell part number 2906732), which is required to collect the data and encrypt it for delivery to the web service.
