I had to use Scotch tape to keep it from sliding (after it was installed on the XLR connector). When pushing the clip over my belt or pocket it would tend to slide on the XLR connector. I'm not sure there is any design change that could be made to prevent this. So I am satisfied with that aspect of this clip. Now the aspect that I am not happy about is that when installing clip onto the XLR connector it scratched it heavily as it slid on. That was because the clip does such a good job of squeezing the connector, and that is a good thing. The bad thing is that the edges of this clip are sharp and therefore scratch.
