Speed up storage with the 16TB ThunderBlade Thunderbolt 3 SSD RAID Array from OWC. Featuring four 4TB M.2 SSDs, this RAID array provides a total capacity of 16TB and is preconfigured in RAID 0. RAID 1, 4, 5, and 10 are also supported, while read and write speeds reach up to 2800 and 2450 MB/s. Utilizing a Thunderbolt 3 connection via an included cable, the ThunderBlade sports two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining.
Powered via an AC adapter, this RAID array has a rated noise level of 0dB. It's aluminum construction is designed for rugged daily use, while a hard shell carrying case allows for easy and safe transport. The OWC ThunderBlade is compatible with MacOS 10.13 and later, as well Windows 10 and later. It can be used with a variety of Mac computers including the Mac Pro Rack, Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air, as well as with Intel- and AMD-based Windows desktops and laptops with built-in Thunderbolt 3 ports.
