With dual LTO drives, you can read and write two tapes simultaneously, streamlining system access and management capabilities. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports can handle data transfer speeds up to 300 MB/s, ensuring your most important information is copied over efficiently and accurately. You can also use daisy-chain technology to link additional LTO drives for a larger copying array while saving room in your rack. This drive supports LTO 8 and 9 tapes with a maximum storage capacity of 18TB, giving you ample room for your data. The included Hedge Canister macOS app is a Linear Tape File System (LTFS) that enables you to easily drag and drop content, offering a seamless file management experience similar to traditional storage drive interfaces. Multiple third-party software applications offer support on both Windows and macOS devices.
