MicW i458C Overview
The i458C from MicW is designed to provide a quick and easy microphone upgrade for your Android mobile device. Simply plug this ultracompact microphone into the USB Type-C port on your phone or tablet and it's ready to use for recording vocals, instruments, ambient sound, performances, and meetings. The i458C can be calibrated using a standard calibrator and is well suited for use with calibration apps. A windscreen is included to reduce breath and wind noise.
The electret condenser mic capsule is powered by plug-in power from your device and features a forgiving omnidirectional polar pattern that picks up sound in a 360° radius around the mic, so you don't have to precisely aim the microphone directly at your sound source. The i458C offers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and can handle up to 125 dB SPL.
