The SMR Series is a metallized polyphenylene sulfide film capacitor with vacuum-evaporated aluminum electrodes. Radial leads of tinned wire are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitor is encapsulated in self- extinguishing material meeting the requirements of UL 94 V-0. Typical applications include automotive and other applications with high ambient temperatures, as well as those requiring high stability and low losses. The capacitor offers excellent sound quality in audio applications.

- Capacitance range: 0.001 - 22 µF / Capacitance tolerance: ±10%, ±20%, ±2.5% and ±5% on request
- Lead spacing: 5 - 27.5 mm
- Climatic category: 55/150/56, IEC 60068-1 / Category temperature range -55 to +150°C / Rated temperature +125°C
