Its high sensitivity makes the converter suitable for use in environments with high ambient light or when the primary strobe is distant from the slave, and its 90° field-of-view window makes it easy to aim the converter at the primary strobe. The converter simply attaches to the remote strobe in place of a sync cord. This converter can also accept select fiber optic cables from a DSLR or mirrorless camera that has a fiber optic converter attached, for shooting at frame rates of 4 fps or faster.

Both the camera and the remote strobe must be set to manual flash settings, and the converter does not work with a pre-flash. TTL flash is not supported. Add a separately sold 3' extension cable for creative backlighting in wrecks, caves, and pool use. This setup can also be used above water for studio photography work.

       Fiber Optic Cord Compatibility

Ikelite Fiber Optic Cord #4501

SEA&SEA Fiber Optic Cable (L-type) #50107

SEA&SEA Fiber Optic Cable II #50128

Olympus UW Fiber Optic Cable PTCB-E02

Nauticam Optical Fiber Cable # 26211 Nauticam to INON

Nauticam Optical Fiber Cable # 26212 Nauticam to SEA&SEA

       Ikelite Strobe Compatibility

DS50

DS51

DS125

DS160

DS161

    UPC: 883711053592

In the Box

Ikelite High Sensitivity Optical Slave Converter

Fiber Optic Port

Connector Protector

Tube of Silicone Lubricant

Limited 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Ikelite 4405 Specs

Depth Rating

           300' / 91 m

Dimensions

           2.7 x 1.1" / 2.8 x 6.9 cm

Weight

           1.6 oz / 45 g

       Packaging Info

Package Weight

           0.14 lb

Box Dimensions (LxWxH)

           3 x 3 x 2"

All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.
