Thin, lightweight, and skillfully crafted, the Firecrest Ultra Cine Superslim IRND 5 Filter Kit from Formatt Hitech contains 2, 3 , and 4 stop IRND filters. Designed for the times you need a cinema camera setup with minimum weight, this kit provides ultralight 4 x 5.65" cinema-grade glass filters. Each 2mm filter weighs about half of the weight of a standard thickness 4mm ND filter, and all the filters are compatible with the included 2mm Superslim Tray. Additionally, the filters are also compatible with a separately purchased Firecrest 100mm Holder.
Design
- Half the thickness and weight of a traditional 4mm cinema filter, this allows you to use the same Firecrest IRND filter technology used on countless major feature films and commercials.
- Proprietary near-IR suppression technology allows for superior IRND.
- 2mm 4 x 5.65" tray allows you to adapt the filters to any ARRI standard-width 4 x 5.65" matte box tray. The Superslim Tray allows you to use the filters with common matte box brands like Bright Tangerine, ARRI, Chrosziel, and others.
- No tray required for matte boxes with clamp style filter holders like the Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom.
- Compatible with separately purchased Firecrest 100mm Holder.
