It can hold up to four filters and requires a minimum of two to function, using any DayStar wavelength, bandpass, or custom filter combinations. An intuitive user interface with a simple two-button electronic tuner, which is accurate to 0.1?,enables the wavelength to be offset as much as 1.0? in either direction for Doppler shift compensation and to highlight specific areas. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eUsing the included plates, the wheel can be mounted to T-threads, Schmidt-Cassegrain back threads, or 2\" drawtubes (to use with eyepieces or cameras). The wheel is outfitted with an RS-232 serial port that allows it to be connected to a computer and enables remote viewing of the wavelength display, and control of the tuning and filter selection.
