The machining is perfect, resulting in a great fit of the nuts on the threaded post.? Does not bind, no slop in the threads and stays tight once you tighten it!? If you're going to mount something heavy (this high strength piece can take the weight) make sure you mount it in a solid shoe on your camera.? Some of the camera shoes that are mounted on the plastic part of the camera can work their way loose if you put a heavy load on them.?
