The 550A EQ segment sports seven frequency centers per band, shelving\/peak selection, and a band-pass filter mode. Finally, the line-driver output section provides a switchable insert return, a soft output mute, an output fade with up to +10 dB of gain, and a 10-segment LED meter which can monitor either the output level from the line driver or from the 512C preamp.
