This KVM switch provides you full control to a host system, including BIOS-level access, while the host computer operates on its original operating system. This form of remote connection also helps ensure there is no performance hit while running other remote solutions.

The ADDERLink ipeps sports a set of VGA and PS/2 ports for the host system along with an additional set of the same interfaces, allowing a local user to access the same computer; two included USB adapters allow you to use USB-based devices. To create a secure connection, it comes armed with VNC client software, AES 128-bit encryption, and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication. Additionally, it can create a virtual drive via USB (using the previously mentioned adapters), letting you transfer data remotely.

Feed-through ports for local KVM console access

Interface powered (optional external PSU available)

Independent operation provides full control, even during boot up, at the BIOS level, or in computer crash states

USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse connections (USB via included adapter)

Virtual media support (via USB)

Supports resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200

Enterprise grade security (using AES 128-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication) further enhanced using Real VNC, which allows for the creation of ciphered user communications

16 user profiles and access data logging

Up to 16 units can be rack mounted in 2 RU of rack space

Supports exclusive-access mode or up to four simultaneous connections

Auto-sensing 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet port

In the Box

Adder ADDERLink ipeps Dual-Access KVM Switch

CD-ROM

4 x Self-Adhesive Rubber Feet

2 x USB Converter Plugs

KVM Cable Set

Limited 2-Year Warranty

Supported Resolutions

Up to 1600 x 1200

System Requirements

System with an available VGA port along with USB or PS/2 ports

Supported Systems

Supports RI, RS/6000, Alpha, SGI, Sun, and Mac

Operating Systems Supported

Windows (all), DOS, Linux, Unix, BSD, Sun OS, Solaris, Mac OS X/macOS, NetWare

Connections

Remote
Video: HDD15 (VGA)
Keyboard/Mouse: 3.3' / 1 m MiniDIN6 (PS/2) 3-in-1 cable supplied

Local
Video: HDD15 (VGA)
Keyboard/Mouse: MiniDIN6 (PS/2)

LAN Connectors

1 x 10/100 Ethernet (auto-sensing)

Operating Temperature

32 to 104F / 0 to 40C

Certifications

CE, FCC

Dimensions (W x H x D)

4.7 x 1.7 x 3" / 120 x 42 x 75 mm

Weight

1.0 lb / 0.5 kg

All product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders.
