MAX3160EAP+ is a RS-485 multiprotocol transceiver. Slew-rate limiting minimizes EMI and reduces reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, allowing error-free data transmission up to 250Kbps. Typical applications include point-of-sales equipment peripherals, industrial controls networking, RS-232 to RS-485, and interface converters.
