Designed for producing beautiful images of Venus with an ultraviolet-sensitive webcam, or CCD and CMOS camera, the 1.25" Alpine Astronomical Baader U-Venus Filter passes the 320-380nm band while completely blocking the spectral range from 200nm to 1120nm. Dielectric multi-coated coatings on optically polished Schott glass enables you to capture images in the deep UV spectral region. It is intended for use on telescope apertures of at least 5"�with 8" being recommended. The filter comes mounted in a standard 1.25" filter housing for easy installation on nosepieces and other similar holders.
