Advanced Translation Technology

The global network of 15 servers allows for real-time translation, which is being fed by the advanced technology of the WT2 Edge earbuds. Each earbud utilizes dual beamforming microphones, directional voice recognition technology, and smart noise reduction to clearly pickup voices and leave distracting background noise behind. Together with the AI translation engine, the WT2 Edge can achieve up to 95% translation accuracy.

Translation Modes

In addition to real-time, simultaneous translation, you can use these additional translation modes.

• Touch Mode: Tap your earbud and the phone will play the translation of what you just spoke. The person you're speaking with then does the same, allowing you to take turns during a conversation. Ideal for noisy environments.
• Speaker Mode: Speak while wearing an earbud to have your phone play the text in a different language for someone. Ideal for short chats and conversations, such as ordering food or asking for directions.
• Text Mode: Type your text in the app and hear an audio translation
• Listening Mode: Perfect for lectures and meetings, ambient speech is picked up by your phone and translated for you. This feature supports up to 6 earbud connections to a single phone for group translation (additional devices required).

Offline Translation

When online access is not available to use the cloud-based translation engines, the WT2 Edge can still provide translation of the following 14 language pairs.

Charging Case and Battery Life

Continuous translation is possible for up to 3 hours with the WT2 Edge. An additional 9 hours of power is available within the charging case, and it takes up to 1 hour to recharge the earbuds. When the case's battery is depleted, it takes up to 90 minutes to fully recharge via the included USB-A to USB-C cable and an optional power adapter.

Export Translations

The ability to save translations is a perfect feature for business meeting notes or other important conversations. The WT2 Edge records and allows the export of voice-to-text and text-to-text translations. These translations are also saved in the cloud, allowing for easy downloading and sharing if needed.
