Rocstor JC24 Overview
Grow your home or small business network to support additional computers, printers, NAS systems, and other devices with the JetConnect JC24 24-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Network Switch from Rocstor. This entry-level unmanaged Layer 2 network switch provides smooth data transfers with 24 Gigabit speed Ethernet ports and a 48 Gb/s switching capacity and 1.488 Mpps forwarding rate.
You can mount this switch onto a desktop or rack. Simply connect it to your network to get started. No complicated configuration is needed.
VLAN and Extend Modes
In addition to its normal default settings, you can configure this switch for VLAN and Extend modes. VLAN mode isolates ports 1 to 22 from each other and can only communicate with ports 23 to 24, which enhances network security by controlling network storms. Extend mode allows ports 1 to 22 to transmit data at 10 Mb/s across up to 820 feet of Cat 5e or better cables. Ports 23 and 24 will maintain its 328-foot range at Gigabit speeds.
