The enclosure includes eight 3.5" and four 2.5" hot-swappable SATA III drive bays, and installed drives can be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 mode with a hot spare drive. Performance can be further enhanced by installing up to two M.2 2280 or 22110 solid-state cache drives. The TVS-h1288X connects to networks through four 2.5G and two 10G Ethernet ports to optimize the speed and efficiency.

Upgrades such as 25G network adapters and Thunderbolt 3 cards can be installed into the available PCIe 3.0 slots. Other features include 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports alongside an HDMI 1.4b output for connecting compatible peripherals. Your data is secured with integrated AES-NI encryption. The TVS-h1288X supports multiple QNAP SATA III and USB Type-C expansion enclosure models for greater capacity.

Designed for use in select QNAP devices, this expansion card installs into an available PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and provides two Thunderbolt 3 ports capable of transferring data at up to 40 Gb/s to streamline real-time 4K video editing, content sharing, collaborative workflows, and more. Devices include compatible NAS enclosures and Thunderbolt 3 10GbE adapters. A low-profile bracket is pre-installed on the expansion card and a full-size bracket included. Using an adapter allows you to connect Thunderbolt 2 devices to transfer data at up to 20 Gb/s.
