Fractal Design Core 1100 Overview
Combine a small footprint with plenty of airflow with the Core 1100 Mini-Tower Case in black from Fractal Design. Supporting micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards, this mini-tower provides a small form factor case for your next build. Featuring two external 5.25" optical drive bays, users can also mount up to two 3.5" drives, three 2.5" drives, or single 2.5 and 3.5" drives. Four expansion slots are also present, accommodating graphics cards up to 13.78". However, one or more 3.5" hard drives may interfere with side-mounted power connectors on graphics cards longer that 6.69". CPU coolers up to 5.83" are also supported, as are ATX PSUs up to 7.28" when an optical drive is mounted.
The Fractal Core 1100 comes with one 120mm cooling fan installed on the front of the case, and users can install a 92 and 120mm fan at the rear and side of the case, respectively. Dust filters on the front panel help trap dust, while sealed top and rear panels help keep dust out. Featuring a brushed aluminum-look, the front panel sports single USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports, as well as separate 3.5mm ports for audio input and output. The front panel of the Fractal Core 1100 also incorporates a power button and power and HDD activity LEDs.
