The Sound Blaster X4 External USB DAC and Amp Sound Card from Creative Labs is an all-in-one audio solution that offers up to three surround sound options and advanced features such as SmartComms Kit and Super X-Fi that help you get the most of your audio channels. Sporting 114dB audio clarity with up to high-resolution 24-bit, 192 kHz playback, this DAC and built-in amplifier provides accurate and balanced audio for your needs.

Connect this DAC to your PC or video game console via USB-C. The front-facing 3.5mm headphone and microphone audio ports can connect to headsets and microphones, while rear-facing line-out ports are available for 2.1, 5.1, and 7.1 surround sound speaker set-ups. A line/optical-in port allows for a connection to your PS5 via a HDMI to optical converter, as well as acting as a line-in port for your mobile devices or audio players. The top of the device features a volume knob and three buttons that mute, toggle EQ modes, toggle effects, and switch between headphones and speakers. The Sound Blaster X4 supports headphone impedance of 32 to 600 Ohms for professional quality gear and follows USB 2.0 and 3.0 protocol.

Super X-Fi Headphone Holography

Super X-Fi recreates the experience of a high-end multi-speaker system in your headphones. You'll be able to hear audio cues and immersive ambient effects without missing other details such as spoken dialogue in shows and movies. Experience a natural and lifelike soundstage akin to those found in movie theaters. Once set up, you can toggle Super X-Fi using the SXFI button located on the device.

Optimized algorithms intelligently identify and enhance the spatial information of incoming audio for a more immersive auditory experience.

Dolby Digital Live

Dolby Digital Live is a feature on the Sound Blaster X4 for Windows users that provides encoding of any audio sources to multi-channel surround sound in real time, all through a single optical cable solution for decoding in a home theater system.

SXFI Battle Mode

SCFI Battle Mode is a sound mode that helps you hear your surroundings in games. Hear not only the directionality of game sounds, but their relative distance as well, helping you pinpoint your enemies' location for a more immersive experience and a leg up in competitive video games.

Scout Mode

Scout Mode helps to make subtle sounds in games more pronounced, such as reloads and footsteps, with expertly tuned equalizer settings.

SmartComms Kit

VoiceDetect

When activated, VoiceDetect automatically mutes your microphone when you're not speaking, and unmutes when you are. Free up your hands and mind when on that next brainstorming session or work meeting to focus on what matters.

NoiseClean

NoiceClean removes unwanted noise from both ends of a conference call in real time. It can suppress static background noise from other users in your voice call while retaining vocals and spoken dialog. It also ensures others on the call don't hear any unwanted background noise from your end.

CrystalVoice Technology

CrystalVoice's Acoustic Echo Cancellation removes unwanted echoes that loop in your call. You can also activate Smart Volume, which automatically adjusts the volume of your voice to maintain a consistent level throughout the conversation, no matter the way your microphone is angled. The Microphone Equalizer can also reduce the harshness or increase mids for vocal clarity so that you sound clearer to others in your call.
