Beyerdynamic DT 797 PV Overview
Ideal for pro broadcast applications like sporting events and concerts, the DT 797 PV from Beyerdynamic is an over-ear, closed-back headset with a flexible gooseneck cardioid condenser mic which can be used on the left or right side. With powerful ambient noise isolation based on the DT 770 PRO, this headset is an excellent choice for clear audio in noisy environments.
The wide 5 Hz to 30 kHz frequency response ensures pristine and balanced audio even in challenging sonic surroundings. The DT 797 PV features vital immunity to high-frequency radio interference which can be caused by sources like GSM, DECT, UMTS, Tetra, and more. The condenser microphone runs on 12 to 48V phantom power and features noise and feedback cancellation. The comfortable softskin earpads relieve stress during long sessions, and the headband can be shaped for different head sizes via the adjustable yokes. The DT 797 PV sports a fixed cable with both 1/4" TRS and XLR 3-pin connectors.
In order to avoid damage, the cables in the headband and gooseneck boom are covered. The connecting cable is fixed and single sided.
