Designed for those who want a classic, cinematic widescreen aspect ratio, dramatic perspectives, and creative Hollywood-style lens flares, the Pro Series 1.33x Anamorphic Lens MK2 from Beastgrip works well for storytelling, documentaries, and landscape shots. It brings video to life in a way that spherical (non-anamorphic) lenses cannot. This lens works by squeezing the image horizontally at a factor of 1.33x to record a higher resolution onto the sensor. The image is then de-squeezed in real time using an app, or during post-production. The result is a 2.40:1 aspect ratio for videos and 1.78:1 / 16:9 for photos. Included are front and rear lens caps, a microfiber carrying pouch, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a 62 to 58mm step-down ring.

Filter Compatibility

• The 62mm filter mount is not directly compatible with Beastgrip 58mm Filters. The lens includes a 62 to 58mm step-down ring to accommodate Beastgrip 58mm filters.
• Please note that using 58mm filters with this lens via a step-down ring may cause vignetting on the 24mm main wide camera. Camera zoom of about 5% will be required to eliminate vignetting.
• Beastgrip recommends using 62mm filters or larger filters of at least 77mm with step-up rings for the best performance.
