The ARX Audibox Qswitch is a quad-channel stereo switcher designed for effortless routing of audio signals in a variety of professional environments. Whether you?re switching between multiple stereo sources or routing one source to different destinations, the Qswitch offers a simple, passive, and reliable solution with no power requirements?ideal for live sound, broadcast, studio, or powered loudspeaker demonstrations.
Flexible Stereo Signal Routing
The Qswitch supports two core configurations:
- 4-to-1 mode: select any one of four stereo inputs to feed a single stereo output.
- 1-to-4 mode: route one stereo input to any of four stereo outputs.
Use it for comparing powered loudspeakers, switching between playback sources, or managing output zones in an installation?all without requiring external power or complex setup.
Intuitive Control and Labeling
A front-panel bank of four interlocked latching switches ensures only one output (or input) is selected at a time. Above each switch, a convenient scribble strip allows for temporary labeling using a Chinagraph or grease pencil, making it easy to identify each signal path at a glance.
Passive, Plug-and-Play Design
The Qswitch operates passively, using precision internal circuitry to switch balanced or unbalanced stereo signals via Tip-Ring-Sleeve jack sockets. Its design allows users to simply connect cables and get to work-no software, no mode switches, and no learning curve.
Built for the Real World
Constructed from heavy-duty, all-steel and finished in a durable matte textured powder coat, the Qswitch is built for professional use. Features include slip-resistant rubber feet, hardwearing epoxy labeling, a Kensington-type security slot, and an optional bracket kit for under-table mounting.
