Keep servers, routers, switches, hubs, and other business-critical applications running during a power outage with the Smart-UPS SRT 2200VA from APC. Capable of up to 1800W of power output, it comes equipped with six battery-protected NEMA 5-20R outlets, one NEMA L5-20R outlet, and 340 joules of surge protection.
The Smart-UPS features audible alarms designed to warn you of changing power conditions, as well as an LCD display that shows the unit's current operating mode and system status. The UPS is cold-start capable and features hot-swappable batteries. A SmartSlot interface lets you customize the UPS's functionality with management cards, while USB and serial ports allow for remote management.

APC SRT 2200VA Reviews
Absolutely One of APC�s Best!
If you have a 20A, 120V circuit available for use, this is likely the BEST APC UPS you can purchase. Dual conversion topology, an advanced LCD with 3 color backlighting for warning of errors, intelligent battery management (with temperature compensated charging) and �automatic restart of loads after UPS shutdown� are extremely valuable features that are not always available on other UPSes. This is truly one of the best!
Generally solid with features I didnt know I needed (+&-)
Has been running servers and telecom (very lightly loaded) perfectly for almost a year. Things to note: you need a 20 A circuit with a 20 A plug (one prong horizontal, one vertical + ground). Have this available where you want to put UPS before it arrives lest you have a temporary expensive house anchor. One thing I did not recognize is that most UPSs cannot be charged from a generator. This one can, and will run your equipment through all the flailing of a typical generator. Fan is quiet, but runs all the time (on a 60 W load!). Availability of extra battery units (SRT72BP) a plus. The first one triples run time and you can add 10! So far has failed to annoy, high praise for a UPS.
Does the job!
The APC Smart-UPS SRT 2200VA is a necessary addition to a closet or to back up a few devices. Another solid product in the APC product portfolio.
Outstanding UPS
This UPS is perfect for our mission critical servers, we have many brown outs, and these units allow us to not have any interruption to our productivity.
Noisy
Loud and makes lots of noise, but seems to work. Haven't had a power outage yet, but I'm sure it's going to come in handy.
Awesome as a UPS foundation
I really like this tower but it needs the network card ( $260) and really needs extra battery packs to be viable unless you have a generator outside.
