Use less space to create more with the A250T Snapmaker 2.0 Modular 3-in-1 3D Printer from Snapmaker. More than a 3D printer, the Snapmaker 2.0 is a modular system that is a high-precision, high-resolution 3D printer, CNC router for carving and cutting 2.5D & 3D items, and a laser engraver and cutter. Simply swap out the modules and platforms like you would a camera lens. Not only can you swap out the included modules, but the system supports (optional) other modules and add-on products to expand its capabilities.
The entire system is designed to be easy for beginners while delivering a large work area and the features professionals require. Setup and assembly time can take only 20 minutes!
This module utilizes traditional extrusion-based FDM printing via a filament spool and supports a wide range of materials. You can use PLA, ABS, PETG, wood, and flexible filaments. The auto-leveling, heated, and magnetic print bed helps to make setup a breeze, and the flexible print sheet lets you release finished prints more easily. As you print, the Snapmaker 2.0's efficient cooling system maintains print quality, even with overhangs. The Snapmaker 2.0 will also automatically detect and notify you if filament runs out, letting you load more and resume prints without quality loss.
Laser Engraving & Cutting
Using a built-in camera, this module lets you preview your design and edit it for precise positioning. The removable aluminum grid table helps to prevent damage to the bed from the laser when cutting, and many different material types can be used on it. It supports fabric, leather, plywood, acrylic, paper, and more. You can choose from Dot Mode for high resolution, or Line Mode to save hours when engraving grayscale images.
CNC Router Carving & Cutting
The ER11 collet used in this module provides better concentricity for faster carving and larger step down to save time. It supports over 100 cutting bits from 0.020 to 0.250" (not included), and an MDF wasteboard and aluminum clamping kit are included. The module is capable of carving and cutting a host of softwoods, hardwoods, and other materials, such as carbon fiber sheet and PCB.
The included wasteboard and clamping accessories work to give you a smooth and level surface, and hold materials down securely. Dust is always an issue with routing, which is why the leadscrew, driver chip, and other precision parts are enclosed in aluminum to eliminate dust accumulation.
Smart Touchscreen Included
You get a 5" 720p touchscreen that runs an Android OS and is powered by a quad core A7 chip running at 1.1 GHz. This interface lets you simplify your workflow and manage most of your often-used tasks with a tap.
You can use the USB port to upload designs or you can do it wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi also gives you the ability to remotely run jobs and update firmware.
Snapmaker Luban is a 3-in-1 piece of software that can cover any task the Snapmaker 2.0 can perform, such as printing, carving, engraving, and even SVG editing. It supports multiple languages and is open source. The open source nature of the program allows developers to truly customize their Snapmaker 2.0 experience with a plugin system, API, and tutorials available to help with the process.
Single Controller Using CAN
The single controller in the Snapmaker 2.0 runs a 120 MHz Cortex-M4 processor and adopts the CAN (Controller Area Network) bus expansion solution. Typically found in car automation, this system provides universal ports, multiport adapters, and a CAN Hub for adding more CAN-bus ports.
All of the modules and major components are made of high-strength metal, such as aerospace-grade aluminum alloys and steel. The aluminum helps with heat dissipation, such as with the controller board and power adapter, and the steel delivers a high load-bearing capacity and rigidity, such as with the rollers.
Made to run as silent as possible, the A250T features a 50 dBA during 3D printing, which is about the average noise level of a home or office. Also, the power module has a quiet 16 dBA fan that auto-adjusts based on real-time temperature.
